i still have a few more presents that i haven't opened, not because i don't like them, but because they are so prettily wrapped i just don't have the heart to tear them apart. plus i might need them for 365. like this little satin bag. i know it contains a scarf as my friend virginia told me. but it makes a fabulous photo prop -- so many possibilities really.
on another note, do you like the new design/format of 365? the photos show larger than they used to be as well as the fonts. even though i like it, i still like to see the red bell for notification.
some odd things i noticed since the new year started:
☻ i had 461 views on january 1st and 1 fav. it was unbelievable! in a good way.
☻ i know that as of november i had 248 followers and 168 friends (people i follow). but this morning i noticed 211 followers and 121 friends. i will attribute this to ross being busy doing some clean up.
☻ if i used to follow you and you find that i am not in your list of followers, know that i had nothing to do with it. methinks that it is a glitch in the website.
☻ i have not removed any "friends" from my list (except 3 years ago i did remove someone with a diva attitude and you know i have no time for divas. but that was the only time).
☻ also, there are people i know i follow and it seems i don't see them posting but in actuality they do post. perhaps because i have a a few 'friends' who post-binge. they alternate doing so although most times two or three of them would be post-binging at the same time. as a consequence, your posts are "buried" or "sandwiched" between them and i miss out in viewing them. so please don't be offended if i don't comment on your photo right away.
☻ my schedule and work these days overwhelm me as i grow older each day. and, i notice that i tire more easily. so if i don't show up and comment on your photos, it doesn't mean i'm ignoring you or i don't like what i see. i apologize, but know that i will eventually turn up and comment.
☺ and may i say that i do appreciate all your comments and humbled by your generous favs. thank you.

This is beautiful! I agree with @grammyn you could take the gift out and stuff the bag with maybe tissue paper. I like the photo size and font. I checked my friends and followers and I believe they are the same!

I agree with you on the changes. It really surprised me, I thought I had messed it up. I liked the red bell too. This is a beautiful present. How can you stand not to see the scarf inside. I'm sure it is lovely and will also make a good prop.
Interesting findings Vikki. I will have to check my stats and friends. This is a lovely present, or should I say two presents. The bag can be stuffed with anything to be a photography subject. Can't wait to see the scarf.
Ah, your eye continues its excellent observational skills. Good of you to leave your goodies wrapped to enable contributions to 365. Like Wendy @farmreporter not 100% sure of your tags, but I'm gonna go with your tags. Beautiful photo! I love the colors here. And I'd be another vote for the red bell -- you're definitely not alone on that. Still, if a single color plus black, works better in any technical way such as loading time, I'm OK with letting the photos contribute the other colors.
@summerfield That's what I thought. And I just realized what I wrote was kind of nonsensical. "not sure of your tags, but I'm gonna go with your tags." Sheesh. I meant of course what you used to tag this photo.
