we had a pleasant afternoon today with the temps well above zero and just a hint of breeze. i went for a walk and remembered there was going to be a 'poetry' meet at the church where i go so swung by there, had some delicious ginger cookies and listened to some poems then volunteered to read two of my own which i wrote a long time ago. walking home, leisurely, i took a couple of photos of this hydrant and some other uninteresting stuff along the sidewalk.
added the bokeh to give the photo a little bit of pizzazz!
