during the day, this is the core of toronto's financial district, when all the wheelings and dealings occur within the offices of these buildings. tonight, on an ordinary saturday, it is almost deserted. if not for the toronto international film festival's last night, traffic here wouldn't amount to much. people are mostly sitting in bistros and pubs just behind me.
the northster and i met up so we could take long exposure photos. our original plan was thwarted by yet more festivals happening in the city over at the west end so we rode the subway train to downtown. this is king street west and the short trail lights on the left are of a streetcar going east.
