sun kissed leaves

the lily-of-the-valley are well on their way;
another day or so and i can sneak and harvest their flowers. these are found in the front yard of my building. a dandelion photobombed my shot.

it was a beautiful summer's day today for us; i suspect we reached 20 or 21 degrees but there were intermittent strong winds. i forced myself to get out of my batcave and bring my camera. took quite a few shots and i'm safe for the next two, three days, let's just say.

Dandelion determination! They keep rearing their beautiful heads in my yard too!! And I can almost smell the heady scent of the lilies of the valley! Perfect half n half!

When I think of photo bombing I think more of a person or an animal, so the dandelion and your thinking made me smile.

@jacqbb - yes, if you look closely at the bottom of the photo, and middle right, you can see the buds coming out. i harvest them (when no one's looking) and put them in my tiny vases. they are so beautiful!

Nice warm light on the leaves of the flowers. I used to have some but they ended up being sacrificed.
