southbound

this is the don mills, the place i consider my starting point when i go for my morning walk. it is a 3-lane roadway each way but now is just 2 and less than a half lanes. almost the same scenario for the 3.5 km and more ice where i loop around to complete the walk. in parking lots, the mounds of snow is higher. it was worse downtown where the passageways were much narrower and icy. in the horizon, visible if you are able to zoom in, you can see the toronto skyline.

tomorrow, if the clear weather continues overnight, i will go for my usual walk before it snows again. i may have to bring both ski poles but walk i will as my body is really hungry for it.

it wasn't so bad today, despite the temps being -12 when i left at ten this morning.
Love this leading line shot. That sounds so cold! Hope you stay warm and healthy.

It looks very cold and treacherous. I admire you for walking in this. It would be enough to keep me in the house.

Lovely shot and leading line with tracks in the snow. Way too cold for me to put a foot outside ;-)

Neat wintry leading line

How deep the snow is on the side of where you are walking. You be careful out there please.

Sooo cold! So hard for me to relate to that as we only have snow in the mountains!

That's a fabulous leading line. I don't know if I'd be keen to walk in that cold but then I don't walk in any temperature

For me, snow in the city still means: no school today! (= happiness).
