let me introduce my six-year old grandson, darren oliver. the boy is such a ham.
he and his brother were staying with me this weekend and part of our routine on sunday mornings is to go for breakfast. we found this beautiful mural at a strip mall on the corner of warden and lawrence avenues. i wanted to show how massive this mural was so i asked little darren to stand beside the mural. i told him to pretend he's taking an egg from the basket. at first he was quite shy, but with enough prodding, he started to pose until he was really acting the part. it also happened that he was holding a piece of kleenex so that he looked like he was holding an egg on his left hand.
i also attempted to make a collage of my different shots (used two cameras so that the sizes aren't all the same) using picnik. the collage can be viewed at my other photo blog at http://one-photograph-a-day.blogspot.com/
@meggageg - at first i thought so, too. but i knew he wasn't and i figured out in no time that it was the kleenex he was holding. thanks, meg. @gailreese - thanks, gail. really, do you think he's super cute? well, casey's super cute, too. ;-)
@slang - thanks, sean. i took about 88 photographs today - of 2 murals, dew drops on leaves, stained glass windows of a church, a bass. but when i saw this one shot, i just know it's my photo of the day.
@gailreese - thanks, gail. really, do you think he's super cute? well, casey's super cute, too. ;-)
@yoelao @steeler @samdan - thank you so much. everyone's comments make me strive to do better. much appreciated!
