i have nothing as it was quite warm (@roth lol!) to go around and take photos. so i reviewed my flower shots from last weekend. i've been fretting that i wanted a critter shot but can't find one. well, what do we know, i found this and didn't even notice the little bee until i went picniking. methinks these old eyes are finally needing glasses :-)
so here's my bee. say hello to beellabong! and calling anne @sunnygreenwood to ID the flower (is it a cosmos?) please.
now, i can stalk everyone's posting (like i haven't yet!).
I don't know this flower -- but your shot is wonderful! And the bee is quite colorful! Really lovely colors -- such delicate pink against the green! Framing is cool, too! Lovely!!
Gotta love those surprises that pop up on the computer screen that "weren't there" when you took the photo! I love it when that happens! Cool capture, pretty colour on the bug, pretty flower too. Cosmos petals are usually wider and touch each other. There's so many different kinds tho ..... this is likely a Cosmos ... don't know what else it would be.
@sunnygreenwood - indeed, surprises abound when we open and look at those shots in the screen. thanks, anne. someone told me the same thing you said.
@altadc - that mirror framing is 'da bomb'!! so glad you like it. thanks, alta.
@danig - been wanting that mirror framing ever since i discovered lesley's album. plus, the other effects that i'd like to use were all premium so, i coughed up. yaiks! i'd bet you i won't be using it much, though.
@bkbinthecity - thank you so much. i suppose that's why i take so many photos when i'm out so i would have good fillers when needed.
@cscecil - thank you, CS.
