here's a barn photo i took last sunday when partner and i, on a lark, went to visit his parents' tombs in lynden, ontario, about a 1.5 hours drive west of toronto. partner was going quite slow, 80 kmph, but i had spotted this from a distance and knowing the road from when i used to drive around here, i knew the exact point when i would have to press the shutter. and voilà! four frames and only one was not acceptable as it was tilted. on this one, the leaves from a tree on the left lent a more natural feel and gave the photo some depth, n'est-ce pas?
sooc, except for the frame and name tag from ribbet.
This is gorgeous, beautiful colours and I love the style of the barn. Wish we some like that but I don't think I've ever seen one like it anywhere here in South Africa!
oh, thank you so much! i love this shot, what a beautiful barn! and you took it on the fly, from the car. good for you! that barn is in great condition - so many around here have roofs that are caving in. fav, love this so much.
Fantastic capture ... I love the color of the barn. Have never seen one this color! Beautiful comp ... wow, you get some great shots while moving. NEVER works for me...just one big blur!
