i didn't know what this was about until earlier this afternoon. a few days ago, DG @danig invited me on facebook to join this event and i just accepted the invite. this morning there was a notice from paula wallis (from british columbia who organized it) that we're assigned to take a photo at 5:47 p.m.
i was everywhere today but 5:47 p.m. found me at the laundromat doing my laundry. actually, i was only doing one load at that time because i was waiting for the owner to arrive. i had called him earlier to tell him that the money changing machine had no friggin' money in it.
these are the quadruple washers. at the end there are two six-loader washers. i only use one of these guys when i have to launder my heavy comforter. i like my clothes swimming in lots of water when washing. frankly i don't get those people who are trying to save money by jamming the washers.
I have only heard about it since seeing pictures posted with the tag! Would have been nice to have joined in. I really like your perspective here. The partially open doors give an added interest as they are not totally uniform.
I keep telling my kids not to put too much washing in the machine, so it's got room to move around, but I don't think they listen! Great shot, nice perspective.
