This early dandelion is the first and only flower in my wild flower patch. I like to have dandelions in the garden because they're so good for pollinators. Chris, however, is not happy when they appear in the lawn and I insist that he leaves them there until they've finished flowering.
They are pretty, if only they could control their desire to take over the world they would be more popular. I’m always trying to get them out before the flowering finishes and all those fluffy seeds drift all over.
