Lovely birds. When I first got married, back when Noah was a lad, I saw one of these gorgeous birds in our garden. I got out my trusty Observer's Book of Birds and discovered that the bird I saw was indeed a goldfinch and they lived in weedy waste places. I didn't think our garden looked that bad, ha ha.
