Unknown Little Bird

I'm really not sure what this little bird is. It's definitely a finch and the yellow edges of the wings suggest a greenfinch. It looks like a young one yet it seems too late in the year for a young one. Can anyone help please? It was hopping around on the patio outside the dining room window at teatime today.

Sweet bird, would like to know it's name
