I am always shocked and horrified to discover just how many rare and beautiful creatures like these, are teetering on the brink of extinction and yet people are still illegally hunting them. It's a sad world we live in
Oh how I feel exactly how you do. It pains me to hear about the poaching and killing and for what?! For nothing that truly matters. What a shame... This little guy is great, like the others I love his reflection as well!
Love this. It reminds me of when I used to work in a zoo that bred this variety. They were great characters. One of them was being hand-reared by a keeper who lived on-site. He returned home one lunchtime to find out it had got out of it's box and somehow got into the toilet where it was waiting to be rescued.
