After an extended walk of many miles through the nearby ancient woodland, we were feeling a little weary and a tad peckish, so we dropped in for a bite to eat and some liquid refreshment at one of our favourite pubs, The Heron Inn at Malpas near Truro. Great food, great beer and river views to die for. The views from their front patio is are a little bit special.
