More than 60 buildings in Chicago's downtown area have 'gone blue' for Autism Awareness Day today. I'd hoped to get downtown to photograph from different perspectives, but am getting ready to leave for a 4 day work trip and am swamped. Instead, this is from the rooftop -- not a new view, but looks different with the blue lighting, and I tried to capture it during the almost-dark period when the sky is deep blue as well. I may not be able to comment for a few days -- not sure of what kind of time I'll have to myself, but I hope to be able to keep up with posting and viewing. Commenting will definitely resume on Sunday!
Ha! When I saw this I thought "Well, at least one of us made it to the meetup!" Not so. I'm still in Indy, Daniel is frantically coding, and you're getting ready for your trip. You were still able to get a great photo of the lights, though! Clever idea to do it when the sky is midnight blue.
