Had a bit of fun using post-processing to turn lavender from recognizable to something else. This is the same stalk as the bee photograph on http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2014-06-25.
Thank you for your lovely comments and favs on my dragonflies yesterday! Despite being on Beaver Island, today was actually a long work day and I've not had much time for commenting or photographing. I look forward to catching up over the next day or two.
The processing is great Taffy. Before joining 365, and in the early days I tended to prefer photos without visible processing, there's still a hint of that left as I dislike, or maybe like less, some over processing. I'm having to educate myself that done well it's a marriage between art and photography ( and that done well depends on personal taste). I love this, even more on black. Fav
I was waiting for this super special picture...cannot believe that it has had only 2 fave's so far!? I really love the delicateness which you have managed to capture and bring out in your processing. This is one of those pictures which I think deserves a PP and TT...and sadly it seems like it is not going to be up there...
