Not an original six word story, but a saying that I know is now a cliche. I hope the saying holds as we're really enjoying some nice weather. Photo taken in Belmont Harbor looking south toward the city.
Busy weekend coming up with a leadership institute all day Saturday and colleagues in for the event for the weekend. So, I apologize in advance, but commenting will be inconsistent til Monday.
Amazing shot, Taffy!!! There are so many layers to this, the boats, the cityscape, the sky, and the reflections in the water, and yes, the place is on fire!! FAV!!
The clouds seem to form an arrow pointing at a subtle dip in the building horizon and then the reflection on the water. It all just draws your eye in. I see this in your picture and it is a huge lesson. Tucking it away.
I just had to look at this on a black background and wish I could see it full screen. I just cannot decide which element I enjoy most, the sky, the building silhouette or the subtle detail in the boats.
Wow some sunset! We've had some red fire ones here too but I wasn't able to be in a place in my camera to capture it. Here's another fav to add to your pile.
WOW WOW WOW, Taffy! Number 1 on TT! I'm sorry I wasn't online this past week and missed seeing it earlier, but clearly, you didn't need my vote! Beautifully depicted sunset, indeed. I like how the weight of the image is across one line, yet the sky and the water "curves" from it -- it is the super wide round lens?
fav! fav! FAV
