City Lights by taffy

City Lights

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs for the other view of the harbor photo. I've had the chance to read and enjoy them tonight but am now heading to sleep, without a minute to comment throughout the day. I guess that's the sign of a good meeting! This photo is from a few days ago...fit my mood of very tired at the end of a 18 hour day, but a good tired. And last but not least, I do appreciate that you commented knowing I cannot comment back until Monday (and appreciate those of you who told me not to worry about it!).
Oh...this is looking south toward the area called Museum Campus, processed in Color Efex using solarization filter slider.
Lovely capture, almost a surreal effect.

This is interesting taffy. I like the way you processed it. Glad you felt able to enjoy people enjoying your work and leave it there for today. Hope you have some good sleep. I keep meaning to reply to email will go do that now.

Great shot and love your processing, Taffy. I love seeing your photos and commenting on them. Do not worry about mine at all, you had a really busy weekend. Get the sleep you need. I wanted to say that I really like the light color of the shrubs in the foreground, like there is light on them. FAV

Such drama! Love all that glass rising into the darkness. Unusual lighting that creates the drama . . . what circumstances were you shooting under?

What an eerie shot! The foreground feels a little overprocessed to me, but the buildings are wonderfully ghostly.

Never worry about the commenting - life happens to all of us! Spoken from the pov of one to whom life has been happening a lot lately. BTW, this is a great picture!
September 29th, 2014
@jyokota It was late afternoon but no special conditions -- sort of bland and gray. I was using my nifty 50, and just thought I'd take a photo of this building which I like a lot. But it was so bland, I ended up deciding to process it into submission!
September 29th, 2014
Of course you shouldn't worry about commenting Taffy, just go with the flow of your own life. I love this shot, got a decidedly spooky feel to it with that black background. Very impressed that your used your nifty fifty, I've still got my L-plates on with mine.

I love this shot, definitely a fav. Excellent processing. Know the feeling about being tired, I have been so busy lately and also not had much time for commenting on 365. Our annual Photo Club exhibition is coming up soon too, so busy with that. Have a good nights sleep.
