From my afternoon photo walk with Andrew @tomtom and Rachel @888Rachel when I was in Brisbane a few weeks ago. Just catching up as things start setting down here so no need to comment. If interested, here's Rachel's version: http://365project.org/888rachel/365/2014-10-17
Rachel used HDR for her really beautiful work and I like the natural look that you have achieved too! Not sure how you got the purple flower to lay down across the pathway!
Sorry, I had to comment on this one, it looks amazing. I'm very sad that I had to call off my trip there after seeing all of these magnificent shots of Brisbane.
@karlow75 Thanks Kane! It really is a beautiful city and you can take hundreds of photos just on South Bank alone. BTW, thanks for the lead re contacting Nikon re the oil on the sensor repeating problem. They've been really responsive.
@taffy that's fantastic. My friend (who lives in Atlanta) has finally received his replacement camera. He was very happy with their service as well. They even upgraded his camera model. Lucky guy. :)
@karlow75 That's what I'm hoping for. The most recent image I sent them showed how serious the problem had become -- dozens of spots! Wish me luck with it!
@maggiemae I think it's part of the structure, not on the ground. I was taking this with a zoom so it tightened up the image to get this effect. And shooting into the light. Thanks for the visit and kind comment!
I love the difference between the two shots. Not only in the processing but in the point of use. Or is although somewhat to Rachels and I knew I'd seen this type of shot before but it was so different but I didn't really recognize it. So glad that you attached Rachel's link so that I could compare them.
