A Chicago building in the financial district -- to me it seemed to be saying, "look at me, I'm a posh one." From photowalk on way back from some city errands...stocked up for architecture shots to use over the next few weeks.
Still in the midst of the move, no Internet (visiting Whole Foods to use it briefly). Looking forward to a regular house when we get to the island tomorrow.

Oh yes, you're right up there in this place Taffy. Did you buy yourself a few Hermes scarves?? Ha, ha, ha. Great leading lines in this shot, especially with the reflections in the tiled floor. The strong perspective pull and warm lighting draws one straight into the shot.

Lovely golden patterns, reflected on the floor. They work very well, to lead the viewer's eye, down to the end. This is a very spiffy environment! Bummer about the housing bumps in the road recently, too. Hoping for some tranquility for you.
This really is spectacular - especially against black. Everything is so crisp - your eye to composing this is terrific - the lighting to bring out those warm colors and reflections is beautiful. Such an impressive shot.
