Our guardian clearly didn't phase the deer -- the stubs on the left are what's left of some really nice hosta plants. Apparently while we were in Chicago, flowers bloomed, mushrooms grew, and deer had a field day on our property.
Thank you for your wonderful comments on my tall ship shots! It was gone the next day so I was really glad we'd gone back into town, with camera, and that the clouds cooperatively arrived as well.
I love your guardian. What a beautiful collage, Taffy. Still looks great even though the deer were there to help themselves. Timing is great. I try to take my camera always as photo ops like the ship you captured are in the moment. Loved the clouds on that one too. They add so much to a photo. FAV
Great collage. In my garden, the slugs and snails eat everything! Well, no, not really everything. They just leave great gnawed holes in all the leaves and flowers where they've feasted!
Beautiful flowers.....I am sure there will be many more coming up now that you are back in town! Have you tried a scarecrow?!! That guardian looks too adorable to scare off anyone!!
Too bad about the deer, it would have been great to catch them in the act.
