After our photo shoot on the Manhattan Bridge last night with @michaelelliott Michael, Junko @jyokota and I headed to Times Square to practice with our wide angle lenses.
Back in Chicago now but not done with our NY photos so you'll see them for the next few weeks, I suspect.
Thank you for all your views and wonderful comments across our shots -- it's so much fun getting together with 365 friends and being able to share what we did with the bigger community.
And I was excited to learn when I got back that my windmill shot was picked as the ETSOOI-55 finalist. Please join the new one -- information is here: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/26493/starting-etsooi-56 It's wide open re topics and you can contribute starting tomorrow.
FAV -- I love how all those lines play important roles in taking the eye down the photo's path to the point of convergence. Especially love the "loud" neon of the streets!
What a great capture.....you have totally captured the hustle and bustle, the bright lights and crowded streets, the sense of scale, and the jolting busyness of the area....wonderful....FAV!
I saw this first on tp and thought from that small image it was a Las Vegas Casino - you have to see it small to get this. Wonderful shot and you have awakened in me an interest in NYC. Though as I am a morning person I think my shots would be different.
@lynnz You're right on target on that -- I had the large camera, moved around a bit, and then took the shot and not one person looked to see what I was doing!
