Went for a lovely walk around the Lewis & Clark college campus. What an idyllic place! This is on campus near a reflecting pool (drained at the moment) that provides an image of Mt Hood when the mountain is 'out'.
I hope everyone in the US had a lovely Thanksgiving with family or friends or simply giving thanks.
@taffy Sadly, but gladly, youngest is a senior and she's thinking of leaving Portland after graduation. I will sooooo miss my frequent visits, but with the Japanese Garden renovation completion scheduled for 2017 I will definitely be back, though my excuse to wander the Lewis and Clark campus will be gone.
@lyndemc The students there are so fortunate! It is the kind of college campus that movies are made of but so few actually get to attend. I was very impressed with the surroundings. And my niece is learning so much there!

@eyesmile Portland has been beautiful!! It's quite amazing to have had so many days of sun. I wish you were here as well -- but with my nephew and his family here, we'll be back at least once a year, I suspect. I'm meeting with Jane Pittenger on Monday, and here all day Tuesday as well with minimal plans other than being ready to fly out. Who lives here that I should contact, even though it's last minute. I know you do...but haven't kept track of who else.
