Friday night in Portland.
Not much time for 365 activity, but great time with family, great photo walks (well, one photographer, others walking and waiting occasionally for photographer to catch up), wonderful city.
Hope all are enjoying the weekend.
Thank you for putting Waxing Moon Over Chicago into the TT this week! Much appreciated!
Beautiful composition. Might I issue a photo request? The Tilikum Crossing Bridge is a beautiful pale blue right now at night and there are super views from the walkway by OMSI. I've seen only one photo of it's new color on the Flickr page and would love to see one of yours if you would have the time. It's quite easy to get there on TriMet's Orange line.
@jgpittenger I did bring my 85 prime in case family was willing to pose for portraits. In words of one brother, 'Taffy, put it away. ' Referring to camera.
@darylo Aw, thanks...and no, not for seder but for Sabbath. Seder is for Passover in springtime. My mom had made the bread -- superb baker still doing this into her 90s.
Love the focus on the beautiful challah and kiddish cup! Fav! Let me know if it still works to meet on Friday the 4th. I'm thinking you might like the pier

Such a beautiful symbolic image! Lovely warm lighting making the bread look so inviting! I am so impressed that your mother made the loaf - my bread looks nowhere near as good as this! How wonderful for you to be able to spend such a special time with her - even if she still tells you to get your hair cut!! Lol! Fav!
