This was taken on Sunday afternoon in the business district where normally it would be crowded with people. I liked how the lone figure looked among all the buildings and their reflections.
You have a wonderful eye Taffy, the man is in just the right place to emphasise the lines and size of the surrounding architecture. I can't help but wonder what he's doing there in a suit on a Sunday. Magic shot.
This is delightful. I agree - he just looks brilliant, a sole human among all the glass and metal. I love the processing, makes it look like a pencil drawing.
The figure appears to be leaning round - in line with the curve of the building - to become an integral part of the scene. I love your processing style for these complex building structures. It reminds me of bare trees in the winter - all elegance and strong lines, without the distraction of a blanket of covering.
@thistle Thanks! That's exactly what I found fun and interesting about this image. When I was processing it, I had to figure out what was reflection and how to frame it well, so I appreciate your comment!
Yes, the lone figure really makes this a stand out photo. I love your city shots - never get to see anything like this where I live. Such a great shot!!
