Where Are You Taking Me?

Vickey saved this unusually colored garter snake from being run over by a golf cart. It's called a Christmas Garter Snake because of its red color (common markings are green and yellow). I'd never seen one before - and as you can see, they are totally harmless. Beaver Island has 7th varieties of snakes now, but none poisonous or dangerous for other reasons.
