Lights and Shadows in Istanbul

One of my favorite museums was the Museum of Turkish & Islamic Art -- https://muze.gen.tr/muze-detay/tiem -- and my favorite section (though hard to choose) were the display of books across centuries. Each was a work of art. But what also attracted me was the interior architecture as the sun shown through.
Pretty spectacular- love the shadows too

This really suits mono, though I suspect it is pretty glorious in colour too. So many lines. At one level if feels ridiculously over busy and yet the echo of repeating arches somehow unifies it.

Only you would get the lines so right on. I like the contrast between sameness and differences

Light and bright in black and white. (I'm a poet and didn't know it.) Sorry for the levity. It really is a lovely photo of this sunwashed room.
