Yes, it's a redux of the Brooklyn Bridge photos that @jyokota and I posted of our photo walk yesterday with @michaelelliott and @adamj. My get-pushed partner this week, @francoise, asked me to take a photo of a city-scape while in NYC, but to populate it with people (since she clearly noticed how rarely people are in my photos!). Here you see two ghostly figures under the bridge. Can you guess who they may be?
@francoise here's my response (1st one -- I may have more in the next day or two) for peopling a cityscape. Next ones, my goal is to be able to see people clearly, but this one was too much fun not to post!
Stunning---your NY images makes me homesick and feel like goin' back there again but SNOoooooW is stopping me not to..i don't like to shovel snow again !!.:)
you are such a talented photographer and I so love you landscapes/cityscapes, I am rubbish at them and must take the time to get better soon. brilliant shot!
@taffy It's great -- I like the sort of uniform blur on both people (sort of like the olympic ice skaters having to be in sync ) The whole people question is fascinating to me: I don't feel comfortable taking pictures of people. I like the inanimate world that stays put and lets you fiddle around -- but the pictures that I really like to look at usually seem to have people.
points! Gorgeous lighting!
