My "get pushed" challenge from Heidi (@heidit ) is to move to street photography and candid images in the city. First attempt today was as I was walking past the Greyhound station and saw a girl carrying a backpack that was 2/3 as big as she was, while her companion carried a relatively small backpack. The large apartment building behind the bus station is the only urban hint, so next attempts will be in a different part of the city (and hopefully good enough to go in my main album).
Something that I like about street photography is that when it's well done, it makes me wonder what the story is of the lives of the people depicted. And this surely does that.
