In the winds we've had today, my beautiful iris blossoms and all the buds have fallen over. I haven't been able to get them to stay up and now it's pouring outside. I had gone out for a short walk as night was falling and took a few night shots with my 85mm 1.4 because the buds were looking regal. When I opened this one, I thought it was so weird to see what looks like an arm holding a little stick. I actually had moved the little stick out of a later shot when I noticed it 'in the way' and the iris leafy thing sort of held onto it. I had to really pull to get it away. Weird, so I had to post it.
@sugarmuser Thanks Sharon. I like that style too (as you may have noticed) where it's sort of a reflection/shadow through focusing. @mikegifford Thanks Mike. It's a dark and mysterious little area in our teeny little garden. @vankrey Agh -- that's nightmare inducing, given how I had to pry that stick away. Gives me the chills now that I see it in the photo as an arm!
@jerwinkie Thanks for checking this one out. It was quite weird how much it held onto the stick when I tried to move it away, so the photo has stuck with me.
