I went to Museum Campus to take photos of the skyline at sunset because the clouds were amazing today. But, there was this very large wedding party. And there was a flock of geese. And a professional photographer trying to take professional shots. And well...I won't go into any more. These shots were so much more fun than the skyline ones!
The goose gets its day in the spotlight in my extras album: http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2013-11-10
@genesis_one Interesting that you'd say this, Corrie. I have a cropped version too, and it does look much better as a stand-alone image. But it loses the feel of the moment with the geese, bride running off, photographer and wedding party sort of trailing and this huge bus that I think they were about to all get into. So probably because of what I had seen, I thought the goose needed to stay. I really appreciate your comment and suggestion.
What a magical fairytali moment you have captured! I love the shot and the funny story! I can also see Corries point as a cropped version would be stunning - the runaway bride! I hope you can get a copy to the bride such a fab wedding shot! The sky was magical too! Triple Fav if I could!
Runaway bride?!! Taffy, this is really wonderful....the sky is so amazing, and your point of view priceless, I like the goose as a witness to the event, and this is such a candid shot of the bride! Excellent... :-)
Haha! What a fantastic opportunity - and you jumped in with both feet - sensational shot! Wouldn't want to see the bottom of her hem after walking thru all that goose...um...stuff!
When I first looked, I wondered if you had photoshoped her in -
love the story line this holds. So much color in the sky. That dress is amazing - I hope they got some good shots.
@colie@kwind Thanks Colie and Kim -- this was such a fun scene to have been able to shoot -- I was so lucky! I appreciate your fav, but feel I have to give credit to the goose and the bride!
@linnypinny Thanks a lot Lin, for the comment and fav! I thought it was the funniest scene I'd seen there, ever! I was so lucky to have the camera ready to go.
