This robin was one of many this morning, on a branch in the tree in front of our house, where the lower branches are right in front of the full length window (a door really, but with a railing to keep from falling out the second floor of the building!). I had it open for ages trying to get a bird that wasn't moving erratically and threw out over 50 photos. But this delightful bird hung out for a few seconds on the branch right in front of me and away from the bright sun. I loved its puffy red-orange breast! It looked so cold, though, sitting in the snow.

Oh he totally looks like he´s thinking of that. There´s something very sad about birds in a snow, I always feel so sorry for them...and for any other animals too
