From last night's photo meetup to watch the moon rise over the lake. But, we were apparently off by an hour and it was very cold! So, I gave up and here's my moon substitute.
These are the steps outside the Adler Planetarium walking down to the lakefront.
ONS7 photo 2 is one color dominate -- here it's sepia.
What a shame when you make all the plans and then you are an hour out! Sounds like me when I drove to Brighton for sunset but I was 2 hours out! What a long wait it was! Lovely starburst!
Love the low key processing and soft curves in this! I have no idea how you can shoot in the cold! Last night I was walking back from the theater in Manhattan, it was 40 degrees and I couldn't possibly have taken my gloved hands out of my pockets!
Love the low key look. If you do moon shots again, there are apps which tell you exactly when the moon will rise. The moonrise, unlike sunrise, can vary by several hours each subsequent day. I made the same mistake last year.
