This is another storyboard to show what an incredible experience I -- P3, Professor Percival Penguin -- had today as I was almost swallowed by a dog!! For more information (and how Little Danbo tried to help me, see http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2014-11-22 ).
Otherwise, we are all doing well and glad to have a day that had nothing at all to do with anything related to the fire!
@darsphotos Thanks Darlene...we got him out the old fashioned way -- C (Bella's owner) pried his mouth open and flicked P3 out, and I grabbed him and wiped him dry. After the 'event,' neither dog tried to lick or taste him again -- I think it was just curiousity as they are both really good dogs, and to be fair, both Danbo and P3 had been sitting on the coffee table where the food was....I do think it was just a misunderstanding!
@taffy I am glad you got him out ok. I thought old fashioned way may have meant he ate it and had to digest, etc. They are so small that it would be easy for a dog to do this, same size makes sense.
Gosh, I've been so busy with my church fair I didn't know about your fire. Prayers going out to you and your husband. I can't believe you are still doing 365 with all that has happened. That is being a true 365er for sure. Hope everything gets settled down and repaired and you get more things back than you think you will after being cleaned. Thinking of you. M
@sailingmusic Thanks Myrna. It's been quite a roller coaster for the past two weeks. I find writing cathartic, but never would keep a journal. Having the daily post has actually been helpful to me as I'm able to track how this has all evolved and progressed -- I may need that chronology at some point, and personally, it's given me sort of a lifeline to 'normality' as 365 has been such a big part of my way to relax for almost 2 years. It's been helpful to have this as an outlet. And when it's too hard to write about, I can write via P3 or Little Danbo. Thank you for your kind words.
Whoops! That was a bit tricky, wasn't it? Don't worry P3- you survived and now you have an amazing story to tell! And next time you know dogs are coming to visit, you'll know to get on a high shelf! hehe
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann (from P3). I really don't think Bella meant to hurt me, but it was a big shock, and I really didn't like it inside her mouth -- like taking a bath in slimy water!
