Processing Gone Awry by taffy

Processing Gone Awry

I've seen some beautiful shots on 365 using the PIP app and decided to have some fun with it tonight. Giraffe was from a 2011 safari, background is Beaver Island, Michigan. Then imported to Lightroom, exported and processed in Nik Color Efex. Jim thinks it looks like I'm advocating catching giraffes and keeping them in a collection using bottles.
Great fun! Main album has another HyperDroste abstract.
Tis is a fun one Taffy! Clever processing!

Clever. Love this App, but you've done a lot more than just use the App. Super result.

Wow amazing image! Clever processing! Another App to investigate! Although I feel I should get to grips with PS before looking at something new. Having enough trouble getting my head round that! I can see you are really enjoying yourself! Fav!
January 8th, 2016
Yes but, how did you get the giraffe in the bottle?
January 8th, 2016
Very clever, beats the genie in the bottle.
January 8th, 2016
That is very quirky, I just want to let the giraffe run free across the savannah :)

I hope you set him free! Looks wonderful.
January 9th, 2016
This prompted me to find the app, because the effects are so cool. Thank you! Now, all I need is time to figure out how it works.
January 9th, 2016
This image is fantastic!!
January 9th, 2016
@rosiekerr It's really easy to use in the basic way. My big discovery was the little icon for photo, as you can change the foreground and background photos, which makes a huge difference.
January 9th, 2016
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane -- I'm definitely feeling some creativity again...it was just so gone before that it feels so good to have some back!
January 9th, 2016
@danette No, didn't set him free, but now he has a lizard friend in a bottle too -- maybe will post one of these days when I finish it!
January 9th, 2016
@taffy Will have to experiment further... all I could do was shoot a tree inside a droplet thingy (lame). Thanks for the tips!
January 9th, 2016
PS... really happy to see the hyperdroste app being put to so much good use. :)
January 9th, 2016
@rosiekerr Yes, it's been so much fun to see them popping up all over. You started us all on this, you realize, so all addictions trace back to St L. not Chicago!
January 9th, 2016
Awesome picture and processing. Congratulations on making the Trending Page. Well deserved.
January 9th, 2016
