This is a context shot for the photos to come from the Crown of the Tribune Building. The crown is the section of arches around the building with the flag on it. It's actually a little taller than the Wrigley building which is in the left foreground and subject of yesterday's posting - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2016-10-04 - on the way to the reception. The reception had tables set up around the arch section of the crown with the food in the center interior area.
So funny I have a photo taken from almost the same position. In My shot though it was a dull grey misty day with the tops of the buildings lost in fog. A freezing riverboat ride followed! Great memories! Fav!
Love your cityscape shots. As I live by the ocean we don't see scenes like this on a daily basis. Only see high rises when we either go to Newcastle or some of our capital cities.
Wonderful lines, they draw my eye straight into and through the photo. A1 pov. Like @onewing, I have to travel elsewhere to see high-rise, nothing in this city.
