Junko (and Bill) arrived this afternoon (and Jim and I braved the Tollway to pick them up). We're settling in for fun and relaxation. This was taken on our patio, as we watched a very pretty red bird flit about. See Junko's album for the results -- http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2016-12-18
Have fun you two - those blokes with you had better have a good book or two to fill in their time while you're off with your cameras! Nice image of Junko concentrating on her great looking camera gear.
@dide@jamibann@joansmor@onewing@gilbertwood@darylo@jgpittenger -- thank you all for your kind comments! I was still on valium and pain killer yesterday in that photo above but today, I've been able to go for a short swim in the pool and a longer jacuzzi whirl and I'm feeling pretty good. Warm weather, good friends, photo opp = good healing!
@joemuli -- Hi Joey, I agree on those side effects and feel so much better now after being able to wean off the drugs. As for that lens, that was the very first one I ever bought, and it was at a camera shop selling used lenses. The guy there told me not to miss this one and it's a 24-70 f/4.
Lovely to see Junko out and about with her camera!! It sounds like she is enjoying the warmth there with you!! Have a great time with your photo buddy!!
So good to see Junko @jyokota looking none the worse for the wear! What a scary ordeal, but so nice to see you'll have plenty of time ahead to enjoy yourselves!
@pamknowler@tonydebont@skstein@Weezilou -- thank you for your comments! The only lasting problem is the pain in the ribs (seatbelt) and the neck (previous injury exacerbated) so as long as I'm upright, I feel good!
