I’ve only ever walked along this road in one direction...until today. Imagine my surprise as I passed a gap in a high, thick hedge and spotted this beauty! It really cheered me up on a cold, foggy day.

Goodness gracious! That will take some upkeep! I'm with @spanishliz - whilst I think I prefer a circular walk, there is just as much to be said for an "out and back" because you do see things from the other direction.
