One Subject - 30 Shots: White Knight 17

Northy @northy is hosting a challenge to photograph the same subject every day for the month of April: see the details here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43359/one-subject-30-shots

For my single subject I've chosen the White Knight from a replica copy of the 12C Isle of Lewis chess set: today, the White Knight, having refused the offered surrender terms, is escorted back to his front lines.

OB is the only way to go...
A very creative series of arrangements and use of light

The lighting is interesting as it is all on the White Knight.

@randystreat Thanks Kathy - all the chess pieces are equally lit here but the black pieces reflect much less light.

@vignouse Not thinking about black and white. Well thought out.

A couple of these guys have eyes that really feel like they're looking right at us...

This certainly is a great series

I like the contrast between him in the light and the shadow figures

This looks so good on black...well done.

The White Knight doesn't/want need to take hostages, his strategy lies elsewhere. Wonderfully dark, dangerous and distressing....

Necessarily on black and it looks pretty sharp now!

hmmm... things are getting intense! the subtle glint in the dark knight's eyes is awesome!

Love the lighting.

Looks like a scene from, umm Star Wars, haha jk. Reminds me of all those movies with royalties. Love the lighting 😁
