For my single subject I've chosen the White Knight from a replica copy of the 12C Isle of Lewis chess set: today, the Castle Commanders brief their platoons ahead of the expected battle... the White Knight keeps a distant but watchful eye on the proceedings.
@domenicododaro A bit of poetic licence on my part - these are the rooks which in a traditional English (Staunton) chess set are represented by small round castellated towers. They are alternatively known as 'castles' as in the defensive chess move 'castling' where the rook and king move together to put the king into a safer position. In this chess set the rooks resemble the knights but are on foot so I chose to call them 'castle commanders' to make my scenario more understandable for non chess players.
This is remarkable series and deserves to be recognised as such rather than 'shots in the dark'.
