OCOLOY Day 83: Tree Top Tracery

I probably take three or four shots like this every week during the winter but they never make the cut... this one did!

Guess this is another one to be viewed on black!

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Excellent. The in-camera JPEG has come out superbly.

I love the outline of the branches against the sky.

These shots are irresistable aren't they? That sky makes the perfect backdrop for them

Amazing shot and on black the silouetted trunk and branches are more dynamic. Love these type of shots and never knew that until just recently but unfortunately mine were blurry...oh well will try again. I'm glad this made the cut and you shared it with us.

Fabulous. I take lots of shots like this too (although mine are usually dead trees), and they rarely make the cut either.

I'm the same always taking these bare trees they are so abstract. I often wonder if they inspired Jackson Pollock . A fine example you got here.

I love the trees at this time of the year!
