I tried to post this as no. 10 in my occasional series of fence posts but this time, instead of a post doing nothing, posts hard at work keeping the horses safely corralled. However, as you will see from the comments below, I was not allowed to get away with that so I've capitulated and amended the title ;-))
As usual, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
It's your project I suppose... but really, Richard you can't claim this one for the fence post series! The horses steal the show and the poor posts are so easily overlooked!
There are a bunch of occasional fence posts in this shot. So many that one could say the posts in this case are not actually occasional. It is a nice shot of some horses. :)
Valiant photo under extreme pressure. We've become used to seeing (your) fence posts in their own right. Whilst this does that, here they have a role in a greater sense of being part of the rural network. They must needs be seen in working harmony with other countryside elements.

@yrhenwr@judithdeacon@seattlite@dyanstevens@s4sayer@jasperc Thank you all for your considered comments - I've given in to peer pressure and changed the title so that this is no longer part of my occasional fence post series... which means that there is again a vacancy at no. 10!
Loved the banter in this post, with the 365 fence post police out in full flow! But I actually disagree with them, I think it shows how a post cannot stand alone, but needs it's compatriots to do its job properly, then again I could be over thinking this. Nice rural scene!
