OCOLOY Day 164: River Aulne at Port Launay by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 164: River Aulne at Port Launay

This is 6 or so kilometres closer to the sea than the loch and weir in yesterday's photo and about 1 km from the final loch before gaining the sea opposite Brest. The closeness to the sea is reflected in the variety of craft moored here which include ocean going yachts and trawlers.

As usual, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

On black is better... also as usual!
Super composition and reflections

The landscape reminds me very much of river ports in SE Ireland and Cornwall.

I always think that the river moorings like this are so much nicer than the big marinas. Great composition, leading us around the river bend.

Lovely shot - I think we took our boat to there in 1999. It is very pretty.
