OCOLOY Day 240: Biological Research Station

This is the Biological Research Station of the University of Rennes II located in a clearing in the middle of Paimpont Forest. It has featured before in my project but when I pass by it is difficult to resist taking a shot of this dramatic building.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

Worth a little click to view on black I think...
The light is brilliant, Sir! I'm not sure that I recall previous but beautiful capture, nonetheless

A slightly different view from what we've previously enjoyed. Like Nature, its diversity never ceases to please.

Beautiful in b&w Richard and yes, certainly worth a click to view on black. A Fav.

@randystreat It does look very modern Kathy... it must have looked even more avant-garde when it was first built in 1967!

I do like the way the angular, uncompromisingly man-made structure emerges from the dense foliage of the trees.

Très moderne indeed!

Possibly positively phototropic! I do like the contrast.
