OCOLOY Day 310: Not a lot of water has flowed...

...under these bridges recently. For three centuries, water was channelled from across Paimpont Forest to feed this mill race which powered the machinery at Les Forges de Paimpont. In recent times, the feeder lakes and streams have been allowed to silt up by the landowner and the chuckling of fast moving water is no longer the background sound to a walk here.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Great framing, although it does look a touch dry

A three century drought? Well, as you describe, maybe not. But a most effective shot to illustrate the issue at hand.

This is such an interesting photo. There are a lot of things to look at - lines and textures.
