In French 'bis' means alternative - you often see it on road signs indicating an alternative route - here it's an alternative view of the lake that I posted a picture of yesterday. Yesterday was a clear day with bright sunshine, today was cloudy and overcast so the feel is completely different. This was taken looking in the same direction as yesterday's shot but from a viewpoint farther down the lake.
As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Quite different moods as you've said. For me, this seems sad...but hey, do I know about the work of the Biological Station? I imagine it's ram jam with interesting plant nad animal life. I think you've captured and implied its hidden depths well.
@taffy@s4sayer@joansmor@joysabin It's interesting; when I posted the sunset image I hesitated between that view and this one but decided to go with the sunset. For today's image I decided that I wanted to post this view so I went back to reshoot it so that it was taken in the right day... very OCD me! The first day's image was taken in that bright evening sunlight and is very contrasty: this one was taken on a dull overcast evening and has the very different feel you have all commented on.
@vignouse I've just fav'd this. Having read your additional comment to Taffy et al I'd give another if I could for the OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Commitment)!
