@theredcamera so simple to do. Coloured paper or shapes of interest, shallow glass dish (I use the lid of a casserole dish). Put dish approx 6 inches above paper (I balance the dish on glass tumblers) lighting, cold water and I use a generous tablespoon of olive oil. Stand above water with camera. I tend not to use tripod as constantly changing manual focus. Manual setting, 1/60 f6.3 ISO 100 if lighting ok. Focal length 160-200mm. Agitate oil and water and watch the shapes change. Some people put a small amount of liquid soap in the water to make the oil globules smaller but I prefer not to.
