Husband called me to look at an interesting moth.
Moth flitting from flower to flower.
I quickly grab camera, put sandals on incorrectly.
I find moth but twist my ankle and fall to the ground.
Husband I thought was rushing to help - no he was rushing to get his phone to photograph me on the floor.
While I am standing up he is sending photo to family.
Impressed that throughout this the camera stayed safe and I was not injured.
Managed to get shot of moth but it flitted onto the honeysuckle in a nanosecond.
It looked like a hummingbird hawk moth.
LOL! I don't know whether to be impressed with your hubby's quick thinking to capture you on the ground or that you kept your camera safe in the fall. Take care, Susan!
Glad to hear no injuries. If you hadn't told the story, I would have thought you were shooting clouds above you or taking a rest from your macros of the garden. Great photos, both. Although the moth one is a bit small to really enjoy.
Good to know you are OK and your camera is too. Quick thinking on hubby‘s part. A true photographer’s spirit to go for the camera first.
