I was looking so forward to the pumpkin show in Louisville tonight. We left at 7:30 p.m. (thinking we would avoid the crowds) and took the back roads, driving top-down in the Miata. It was sooooo dark...spooky!!
We got to the park 3 hours later only to find a mile-long line just waiting to get in. We sat in a "holding lot" for 1/2 hour just to get in line then decided it wasn't worth it. After $35 paid for our advance ticket later and a stop at McDonald's for McFlurries for the ride home, we were in bed by 1:30 a.m. Five hours wasted. At least it was a fun drive and I got to eat ice cream!
