Keeping Warm

It's a holiday weekend in NZ, so of course it's cold and rainy. We decided to drive up to Auckland to the museum to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. (Well worth seeing), then went on to the winter gardens. This little sparrow was warming itself on one of the hanging baskets in the hot houses.

Great shot ... the sparrows love these Hot houses .. especially on a dreary old day ... I have seen the Wildlife Photographer of the year Exhibition twice now ... and keen to go back again..

Both times I went it was hard to read all the images as it was very busy ... thats why I want to go back .. The shot of the huge flamingo group that was shot from a hang glider one hand on the guide ropes and one on the camera ... I see I am going to have to up skill to get these shots...
